Coppell, TX – Aerostar Training Services, a Florida based type rating center, has chosen to upgrade the visual system on one of their simulators through Epic Prime, RSi’s unique Visuals as a Service program. Epic Prime, the industry’s only Visuals as a Service offering, will allow Aerostar to offer their pilots the latest image generation and projection technology without the capital investment required for a traditional visual system upgrade.

For us, choosing Epic Prime was an obvious decision. Not only do we get the incredible fidelity of an RSi visual system, but the Epic Prime model is enabling us to upgrade our entire fleet and keep all of our simulators up-to-date with the latest technology. When you add in the fact that we are only responsible for first-line maintenance and RSi handles everything else, it is clearly the best option for us. We expect to upgrade our other simulators through Epic Prime as well and hope this will be the beginning of a fruitful partnership with RSi.
